1. 'Neeyat': Vidya Balan, known for her compelling performances, made her big-screen comeback with the new Hindi movie, ‘Neeyat’. The new Hindi movie, touted as a mystery thriller, is directed by Anu Menon and it has been produced by Prime Video and Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment.
'Neeyat' reunites the team of 'Shakuntala Devi' - Abundantia Entertainment, Anu Menon, Vidya Balan and Prime Video. As per current Bollywood news, this also marks the second theatrical co-production for both Abundantia Entertainment and Prime Video. Apart from Vidya Balan, 'Neeyat' also features Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Niki Walia, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli and Danesh Razvi. As per current Bollywood news, ‘Neeyat’ narrates a gripping suspense story of a detective (Vidya Balan) who investigates mysterious murders at a billionaire’s party where nothing is what it seems and all suspects hide a secret or two.

2. 'Blind': Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is making her comeback to films after a long hiatus. Following the arrival of her and Anand Ahuja’s baby boy Vayu, last year, the Bollywood actress was on a break. She will now be making her comeback with the crime thriller ‘Blind’. What’s even more exciting? The new Hindi movie will not be her comeback project, but will also mark her OTT debut. As per current Bollywood news, it was initially planned as a theatrical release.
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja will be starring as the lead in ‘Blind’, alongside an ensemble cast including Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lilette Dubey, and Shubham Saraf. The film is helmed by Shome Makhija, who had earlier served as an assistant director in the 2019 Bollywood film ‘Badla’ starring Taapsee Pannu.
Jio Cinema has joined hands with RV Motion Pictures and Lead Films to present the new Hindi movie. The new Hindi movie, which is a remake of a Korean film, will revolve around a blind police officer who is on the hunt for a serial killer.

4. '72 Hoorain': July 7 was packed with Hindi movie releases. Another movie that was released in theatres on Friday was ’72 Hoorain’ starring Pavan Malhotra and Aamir Bashir in the lead. As per the latest celebrity news, the Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan directorial focuses on the consequences of violent extremism. Bankrolled by Gulab Singh Tanwar, Kiran Dagar, and Anirudh Tanwar, the film has been co-produced by Ashoke Pandit.
A few days ahead of its release, ‘72 Hoorain’ had landed in big trouble. A complaint was filed against the movie before the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) seeking a ban on Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan’s directorial.
As per the latest celebrity news, it is worth noting that ‘72 Hoorain’ first premiered at the 2019 International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, where it was included in the Indian Panorama section and received the ICFT-UNESCO GANDHI MEDAL Special Mention.

5. 'Ajmer 92': After the release of the Adah Sharma-starrer ‘The Kerala Story’ sparked a major controversy, a new Hindi film titled ‘Ajmer 92’ is expected to spark a few waves. For the unversed, ‘Ajmer 92’ is based on the horrific gang rape case in Ajmer in 1992. The new Hindi movie has already started sparking controversy since it showed the widely famous Ajmer Sharif Dargah in Rajasthan in a bad light, and many have argued that it portrays a specific community in a bad light. The movie is based on true events that transpired in 1992 in Rajasthan’s Ajmer, when a powerful family linked to the Ajmer Dargah gang raped and blackmailed dozens of girls, some of whom were minors.
The news regarding the horrifying case was first broken by a Hindi newspaper called Dainik Navjyoti, which is circulated in Jaipur. According to several reports, Farooq and Nafis Chishty from the influential Khadim family, responsible for overlooking the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, were leading a group of young men who used to lure, gang rape, and blackmail young women at a private farmhouse.
It was also reported that the Ajmer police knew about the horrifying incidents, but decided to stay away from investigations due to the power of the Khadim family. The news eventually broke out after the obscene photos were leaked, leading the police to the perpetrators.

6. 'Bawaal': Get ready to witness another fresh pairing soon! Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have collaborated for the first time for the upcoming Hindi film ‘Bawaal’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It will skip a theatrical release and premiere directly on Amazon Prime Video. 'Bawaal' has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in collaboration with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari's Earthsky Pictures.
As per Bollywood news gossip, the film will mark Nitesh Tiwari’s second collaboration with producer Sajid Nadiadwala after the success of the National Award-winning film ‘Chhichhore’. The first look of ‘Bawaal’ was released recently by Prime Video India on social media. 'Bawaal' was earlier supposed to release theatrically on October 6 this year. The upcoming Bollywood film has been shot in various foreign locations like Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam.
