Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were mobbed after reaching Jamnagar.

Hours after confirming their pregnancy on social media, Bollywood couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone reached Jamnagar for the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. In the latest entertainment news, as Deepika and Ranveer, who are fondly referred as 'DeepVeer', were making their way towards their car, they were surrounded by photographers and fans and it made it difficult for the duo to get out of the crowd safely. 

Ranveer, along with other security members and cops, tried to shield Deepika as they tried to get out of there.

As soon as the video surfaced on social media, fans found this behaviour to be "unacceptable". 

Here are some of the comments:

“This is not at all acceptable behaviour! I mean she is pregnant! Have some sympathy," wrote one user. 

Another fan wrote, “She is pregnant and he is protecting her from the crowd.” 

"The way he is protecting her," wrote one user.

Another user commented, "Wow so protective."

In another video, fans were seen rushing towards Ranveer Singh as they tried to congratulate him. Ranveer Singh also hugged a few fans, and he was seen quite courteous with them.

Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Boney Kapoor, Atlee, and Orry have also arrived for the pre-wedding festivities. 

The three-day pre-wedding festivities will be attended by Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh, and Mark Zuckerberg, amongst many other international personalities.

On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter' alongside Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi. 

She will be next seen in Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898' AD alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. The film is slated to release in cinemas on May 9, 2024. 

Speaking of Ranveer Singh, he will once again don the hat of 'Simmba' in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again', starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Deepika, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. Ranveer will also headline Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 3', which is slated to arrive in 2025.
