Watch: Politician Malla Reddy Disses Bollywood In Front Of Ranbir Kapoor At 'Animal' Pre-Release Event, Sparks Outrage
A pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Monday, which was attended by the team of 'Animal' along with Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal' is one of the most-anticipated Indian movies of 2023, and fans cannot wait to see Ranbir Kapoor on the big screen. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film across the country, and in the latest entertainment news, a pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Monday, which was attended by the team of 'Animal' along with South superstar Mahesh Babu and celebrated director SS Rajamouli.
Politician and Minister of Labour and Employment, Telangana, Malla Reddy was also present at the event. He has now stirred a huge controversy with his comment on 'Telugu ruling over India'.
Malla Reddy took the stage, and addressing Ranbir Kapoor, the politician said, "Ranbir ji, aapko ek baat bolna chahta hu. Agla paanch saal mein, poore Hindustan ko, Bollywood, Hollywood, poora ruling karega humara Telugu people. Aap bhi ek saal ke baad Hyderabad shift hona padta. Kyu bole toh Bombay purana ho gaya. Bangalore traffic jam ho gaya. Hindustan mein ek hi city hai woh hai Hyderabad."
"Jaise humare Telugu log, itne smart log hai, Rajamouli, dilwale Dil Raju and humara naya Sandeep aaya. Humara pura Hindustan Hollywood aur Bollywood ko ruling karega. Humara Telugu people ‘smart smart smart’ log hai. Dekho humara heroine? Kitne smart hai. Pushpa toh dhoom macha ke chhod diya," he added.
As the politician continued to diss Bollywood in front of Ranbir Kapoor, the actor was seen smiling awkwardly, while South superstar Mahesh Babu couldn't help but laugh.
