‘Animal’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T-Series, Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures.
The new Hindi movie has been slammed by critics and a section of the internet for its representation of toxic masculinity, misogyny, and use of violence. Despite receiving negative reviews for its content, ‘Animal’ has been performing well at the box office.
The movie, which also stars Shakti Kapoor, Mansi Taxak, Suresh Oberoi, and Siddhant Karnick, has so far made Rs 512 crore in India.
‘Animal’ released in theatres on December 1, clashing with Meghna Gulzar's ‘Sam Bahadur’, starring Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
