"They Are Not...": Boney Kapoor's Bombshell Revelation On Arjun Kapoor And Salman Khan Equation
Film producer Boney Kapoor has made a startling revelation about the equation between Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor.
Film producer Boney Kapoor has revealed that Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor are not on good terms. However, Arjun Kapoor's father also credited the Bollywood superstar for the 'Gunday' star's growth as an actor. Boney Kapoor, who is awaiting the release of his next production venture 'Maidaan', revealed how Salman Khan made sure that Arjun Kapoor lost a chunk of his weight.
In a conversation with News18 Showsha, Boney Kapoor also shed some light on the strained relationship between Arjun Kapoor and Salman Khan.
“Where Arjun is concerned, I may have separated from Mona, but it was never in my mind that Arjun wants to become an actor. It was Salman who called me up and said, ‘He will become an actor.’ I mean he took it upon himself and made him lose weight. Imagine, at that time, he was a very healthy child," he said.
“So I would give credit to Salman where Arjun is concerned. Whatever said and done today, maybe they’re not on good terms, I mean, the equation is not that good, but he gave him his best. And Arjun’s growth really was influenced a lot by Salman, where his outlook to acting is concerned, his outlook to films are concerned, and he shaped up. I mean he gave him, rather inculcated in him, the importance of having a good body," he added.
When asked if the fight between Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor has affected his relationship with the Bollywood superstar, Boney Kapoor replied, "That has not altered. I still love him. I still feel that there are very few like him. You know big-hearted, warm-hearted, and there’s a lot of respect that he gives me, and I love him.”
Boney Kapoor's next production venture titled 'Maidaan' stars Ajay Devgn in the leading role. The film is slated to release in cinemas on April 10, 2024.
The upcoming Hindi movie will be clashing against Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-starrer 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. The Ali Abbas Zafar-directorial also stars Alaya F, Manushi Chhillar and Sonakshi Sinha.
