Is there anything that singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh cannot do? After delivering several musical hits, he has also proved his acting mettle with the recently released film ‘Chamkila’. And he has already made history as a Punjabi artist several times. Adding another feather to his already loaded hat, Diljit Dosanjh made his debut on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’. “The biggest Punjabi artist on the planet” -- this is how comedian and host Jimmy Fallon introduced Diljit Dosanjh.
Dressed in traditional white attire complete with a turban, Diljit Dosanjh rocked the stage with his performance of his hit songs – ‘G.O.A.T’ and ‘Born To Shine’. He made history once again as the first Punjabi artist on ‘The Tonight Show’. While videos of his smashing performance have taken over the internet, Diljit Dosanjh’s gold and diamond-encrusted watch is also grabbing attention.
According to Diet Sabya, an Instagram page dedicated to all things fashion, Diljit Dosanjh wore a luxury Audemars Piguet watch for his performance on the show.
As per the Instagram page, the luxury watch was custom-designed for the singer by ‘Jain The Jeweler’.
The jeweller wrote, “I made this watch for Diljit Bhaji. It is an AP [Audemars Piguet] Royal Oak 41mm model encrusted with diamonds all over. Stainless steel and rose gold.” According to them, the watch costs approximately Rs 1.2 crore.

Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh’s traditional attire for the popular talk show featured a white embroidered half-sleeve kurta and a matching Tehmat. He styled the white ethnic ensemble with a matching white turban, gold hoop earrings, a kadha, and black-and-white high-ankle sneakers.
In another post on Instagram Stories, Diet Sabya revealed that Radhika Merchant also wore the Audemars Piguet watch during one of her pre-wedding festivities.
Earlier this year, Diljit Dosanjh had created a record at Vancouver's BC Place stadium in April, as he became the first Punjabi artist to perform at the venue as part of the Dil-Luminati tour.
In 2023, Diljit had also performed for a packed audience at Coachella, and with this, he had become the first Punjabi artist to perform at the music fest. As he arrived on the stage, Diljit announced his arrival with “Punjabi aa gaye Coachella oye” and the moment went viral on social media.
Diljit Dosanjh was recently seen in Imtiaz Ali's musical biopic ‘Chamkila’, co-starring Parineeti Chopra. He also had a supporting role in ‘Crew’, co-starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Kapil Sharma.
Diljit Dosanjh will next be seen in ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’, which is slated to release in cinemas on June 27, 2024. The trailer of the Punjabi film was unveiled last week.
