Filmmaker Karan Johar’s directorial debut, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji, released in 1998 and remains a fan favourite even today. From giving friendship goals to fashion goals and even dialogues like “Pyaar dosti hai” and “Kuch kuch hota hai Rahul, tum nahi samjhoge,” several things from the movie live in our hearts rent-free. Its songs and characters are equally memorable. Recently, a mini ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ reunion took place when Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji reunited at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) Awards 2024.

On Tuesday night, King Khan was papped on the red carpet of the awards ceremony. As soon as SRK walked in, Rani Mukerji who was already on the red carpet, greeted her ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ co-star.

The duo, who has also shared screen space in films like ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’, ‘Chalte Chalte’, ‘Paheli’ and more, greeted each other, and then posed for the photographers.

Fans were delighted to see the duo together, and they were instantly reminded of the time when they shared the screen in Karan Johar's ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.

Some other fans were also reminded of Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna', in which SRK and Rani played the characters of Dev and Maya, respectively.

The award ceremony was also attended by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Nayanthara, Bobby Deol, Vikrant Massey, and Adah Sharma.

Speaking of SRK, a recent report from Pinkvilla stated that the actor is gearing up for 'Pathaan 2'. The report stated that the film will be going on floors by the end of this year. For the unversed, 'Pathaan' marked the return of SRK to the silver screen after a gap of more than four years, and the movie collected more than Rs 1,000 crore worldwide.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'. The movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar. On the other hand, Rani Mukerji was last seen in 'Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway'.
