At an official Filmfare Awards 2024 event, Karan Johar hilariously trolled actor Varun Dhawan.
Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan go a long way. It was with KJo's directorial 'Student of the Year' that Varun Dhawan made his acting debut alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. Not many would know, but Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra had even assisted Karan Johar when he was directing 'My Name Is Khan', starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Recently, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar along with Janhvi Kapoor attended the official press conference of the upcoming Filmfare Awards 2024.
During the press conference, it was announced that Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will also be performing at the awards ceremony, which will be taking place in Gujarat.
Karan Johar is known for his whacky sense of humour, and displaying this quality, the 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' director brutally roasted Varun Dhawan. The video of the same is now going viral on social media.
"This is the 69th Filmfare Awards, it will be Varun's favourite because 69," said Karan Johar.
As soon as Karan Johar said this, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor were seen laughing. The crowd also erupted in laughter.

For the unversed, 69 is a sexual intercourse position and this reference made by Karan Johar cracked everyone up.
Filmfare Awards 2024 will be held on January 28 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The show will also witness performances from Sara Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan.
Films like '12th Fail', 'Animal', 'Jawan' and 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', will be competing in the Best Film category.
Shah Rukh Khan (Jawan and Dunki), Ranbir Kapoor (Animal), and Ranveer Singh (Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani) will be competing for the Best Actor.
The Best Actress nominees include Alia Bhatt (Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani), Deepika Padukone (Pathaan) and Bhumi Pednekar (Thank You For Coming).
Filmfare Awards 2024 will be hosted by Karan Johar.
