In the video shared by Janhvi Kapoor, one can see the actress playing cricket. She suffered several injuries during the process, and also dislocated both her shoulders.
Earlier, during the latest Hindi movie trailer launch event, Janhvi Kapoor had opened up on dislocating both her shoulders while learning how to play the game.
"Our director is a purist and works with a lot of honesty, so he wanted me to become a cricketer for the film. He didn’t want any cheating on that, didn’t want to use VFX, or do anything half-heartedly. He wanted me to be one with this universe, be a cricketer wholeheartedly," said Janhvi Kapoor.
"I suffered a lot of injuries as well while prepping. Both my shoulders were dislocated, but I’d like to give all the credit to him, the director, and both my coaches Abhishek Nayar and Vikrant sir, who have done a lot of hard work and have held my hand at every turn," she added.
'Mr and Mrs Mahi' has received mixed response from the critics, however, the film is poised to register a respectable Day 1 box office collection.
