Janhvi Kapoor’s Hilarious Reaction To Orry Crying While Watching ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ In Theatre

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is extremely busy with the promotions of her new Hindi movie ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, which reunited her with Rajkummar Rao after their 2021 movie ‘Roohi’. In the romantic sports film, Janhvi Kapoor features in the role of a doctor, who is also a talented cricketer. From attending cricket matches to embracing method dressing, the Bollywood actress did it all for her movie’s promotions. The movie, directed by Sharan Sharma, was released in cinemas on Friday and opened to a decent weekend collection.

Despite receiving mediocre reviews, ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ seems to have struck a chord with viewers. And now Janhvi Kapoor’s friend and social media sensation Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, has given his review of the film.

Taking to Instagram, Orhan Awatramani dropped pictures and videos from his movie outing with a friend as they enjoyed watching ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’.

In a video on his IG Stories, he wrote, “I got very emotional watching this.” In the zoomed-in selfie video, Orry can be seen teary-eyed.

Janhvi Kapoor had the most hilarious reaction to Orry’s video as she reposted the IG Story on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “No one makes orry cry lord forgive us for this sin.”

Talking about Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, the movie maintained a steady pace on its first Monday. The new Hindi movie, backed by Karan Johar, just witnessed a drop of around 60 per cent from its Sunday collections, which were approximately Rs 5.50 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.

On Monday, ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, minted Rs 2.15 crore, and the total four-day nett domestic collection now stands at Rs 19 crore. For the unversed, the new Hindi movie recorded an opening weekend of Rs 16.85 crore.

With virtually no major release lined up till June 14 (‘Chandu Champion’), ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ is expected to collect money at a steady pace and record a decent lifetime total.

'Mr & Mrs Mahi' tells the love story of a couple, who find love, after discovering their passion for the sport of cricket. The film has a reported budget of Rs 40 crore.

Apart from Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, the new Hindi movie also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Zarina Wahab, and Purnendu Bhattacharya.

'Mr & Mrs Mahi' is helmed by Sharan Sharma, who made his directorial debut with ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’.

Apart from ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in ‘Ulajh’, which will hit the theatres on July 5. She will also mark her Telugu debut with ‘Devara: Part 1’, co-starring Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan.

She also has ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ alongside Varun Dhawan in the pipeline. Janhvi Kapoor will also be seen opposite Ram Charan in his next untitled film.
