Kangana Ranaut has written a note criticising actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna for her comments.

Kangana Ranaut is known to speak her mind, and she never hesitates to call out things she sees as wrong. Whether you agree with her or not, that's a different matter, but you have to appreciate her daring attitude. Over the years, Kangana Ranaut has called out some of the biggest names in Bollywood, such as Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt. In the latest entertainment news, the 'Queen' actress has written a note criticising actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna for her comments, where she likened men to "plastic bags".

Kangana Ranaut called Twinkle Khanna a "privileged brat", and she went on to question her about her inability to find joy and fulfillment in the selflessness of motherhood.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Kangana wrote, "What are these privileged brats who call their men polythene bags, are they trying to be cool? Nepo kids born with silver spoon, given film careers on golden platters, couldn’t do justice to that for sure, least they could do find some joy and fulfilment in selflessness of motherhood that also seems like a curse in their case what exactly do they want to be? Vegetables? Is that feminism?”

For the unversed, in the video shared by Kangana Ranaut, Twinkle Khanna was heard saying, "I do keep saying this. I think we do need men. It’s almost like a handbag. You can carry things in a plastic bag, but it’s nice to have a kelly. It is pretty much that. Having said that I think it’s equal partnership.”

Twinkle Khanna also said that despite women making so much progress, 90 per cent of the child care and household duties end up becoming a women's responsibilities.

Recently, Twinkle Khanna had also penned her thoughts about Valentine's Day.

In her column for Times of India, Twinkle Khanna wrote, "With all its consumerism, Valentine’s Day perhaps makes the abstraction of love more concrete. Though if you ask women who have been married for over a decade, the most honest answer to ‘What did your husband give you on Valentine’s Day?’ would be, ‘As usual, a headache.’”

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in 'Tejas', which turned out to be a box office dud.

She will next be seen in 'Emergency', in which Kangana will be playing the role of former India Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. The film has been directed by Kangana Ranaut.
