Kangana Ranaut hit back after she received a lot of backlash for saying that she gets the most amount of love in the country after Amitabh Bachchan.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is known for her being outspoken and recently, she has been busy campaigning as she is gearing up to contest Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on a BJP ticket from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. In the latest entertainment news, during an election rally, Kangana Ranaut likened herself to Amitabh Bachchan, and this did not sit well with the netizens, and the actress got severely trolled on social media.
"Main daave se keh sakti hu ke Amitabh Bachchan ji ke baad aaj kisiko industry me pyaar milta hai to wo mujhe milta hai," she said during her rally.
After being massively trolled on social media, Kangana Ranaut has now doubled down on her comments, saying if she doesn't receive the maximum love in the country after Amitabh Bachchan, then who does? "Kapoors? Khans? Who," asked Kangana Ranaut.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Kangana Ranaut shared a news report, and wrote, "I clearly mentioned Bharat and its various states where I get overwhelming love and reception as an artist for my art as well as my integrity as a nationalist, not just my acting but my work for woman empowerment is widely appreciated."
"I have a question for those who have an objection, if not me after Big B who gets most amount of love and respect from Hindi films in Bharat? Khans? Kapoors? Who? Can I also know please, I would correct myself," she added.

For the unversed, the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled to go to polls on June 1, during the seventh and final phase of the ongoing elections.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in 'Tejas'. The film, which released alongside Vikrant Massey's '12th Fail' in 2023, turned out to be a box office disaster.
Kangana Ranaut will next be seen in the Hindi film 'Emergency'. The film is directed by Kangana Ranaut herself, and it will be releasing in cinemas on June 14, 2024.
