A fake video of Kartik Aaryan is going viral, where he can be seen supporting Congress leader Kamal Nath.

'SatyaPrem Ki Katha' actor Kartik Aaryan, via his team, has called out the morphed video of him supporting Congress leader Kamal Nath in the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls. In the latest entertainment news, it has emerged that the video is originally of a digital platform and images of Kamal Nath have been superimposed on the OTT platform's visuals.

The fake video, which is going viral on social media, shows a billboard, which originally has Disney Plus Hotstar’s visuals on it. However, the morphed video showcases Kamal Nath's images superimposed on the billboard. Kartik's dialogues have also been dubbed to promote the political party.

“There is a morphed version of a Kartik Aaryan ad floating on social media that the actor had done for a streaming platform. The video is misleading and mischievous, and is being used to claim political affiliations on behalf of the actor. Kartik has no such affiliations with any political group whatsoever," a source close to the actor said in a statement, as reported by Indian Express.

Kartik Aaryan has also tweeted the original advertisement, saying, "This is the REAL AD @DisneyPlusHS Rest all is Fake.”

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in 'SatyaPrem Ki Katha' alongside Kartik Aaryan.

The actor will next be seen in Kabir Khan's 'Chandu Champion'.

The movie is set to release in theatres on June 14, 2024 and this is the first time that Kartik Aaryan is collaborating with Kabir Khan.
