KWK 8: Orry Reveals He Has “3 Silent Doppelgangers” Who Attend Events For Him
‘Koffee With Karan 8’: On the season finale, social media sensation Orry revealed that he has “three silent doppelgangers”.
Karan Johar’s uber-popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan 8’ came to an end. The season finale saw Sumukhi Suresh, Tanmay Bhat, Danish Sait, and Kusha Kapila coming together to give away 'Koffee Awards'. The final episode also saw Orry aka Orhan Awatramani gracing the couch. The social media sensation, who went viral on the internet owing to his friendship with star kids, revealed that he has "three silent doppelgangers" who stand in for him at various events and parties.
At 'Koffee With Karan', Orry discussed the presence of his lookalikes, who make it possible for him to be present at different locations.
“I do have lookalikes to sometimes hold fire until I arrive. So there is an Orry lookalike who will be at the event until I actually get from Nariman Point to BKC and then from BKC to Bandra to some movie premiere. We all wear the same outfit and the same look, and they just won’t talk. The minute they talk it goes away," Orry said.
“I have three silent doppelgangers. They have to be sent out to hold base until I arrive. They pose and dress like me but they don’t talk,” he added.
Hearing this, Karan Johar replied, "So you have silent doppelgangers, they get clicked and then you come to replace them when they need to open their mouth.”
Orry then nodded in approval, leaving Karan Johar stunned.
During the show, Karan Johar also asked Orry the question that has been on everyone's mind -- what does he really do in life?
To this, Orry replied, "My best, Karan. I do my best."
"People say, Orry, you're unreal and you're this enigma and this phenomenon. Do you even exist? I am like, does this moment exist? Am I on this couch?"
Karan Johar then said, "We are humbled by your presence."
