Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 60th birthday in regal style, cutting a grand three-tier cake adorned with a golden crown.
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan turned 60 on November 2, and he made sure to celebrate it in a way only he can – with grandeur, grace, and heartfelt gratitude. The celebrations kicked off with a special fan event at Mumbai’s Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir Auditorium in Bandra, where the superstar met more than 300 of his most devoted admirers. The highlight of the evening came when Shah Rukh Khan cut a lavish three-tier black cake topped with a golden crown, marking the moment in true “King Khan” style.

Dressed in jeans, a black T-shirt, a white jacket, jeans, black shades, and a beanie cap, Shah Rukh took the stage to a thunderous welcome. As soon as he struck his signature open-arms pose, the auditorium erupted in cheers, creating a scene that was nothing short of cinematic. Sharing the stage with him was his long-time manager, Pooja Dadlani, who also shares her birthday with the superstar. Together, the two cut the celebratory cake that read “SRK Day” while fans showered them with love and applause.
Several clips from the event have gone viral on social media, capturing Shah Rukh interacting warmly with his fans and even feeding a piece of cake to the event’s host. Later, he addressed the audience, thanking them for their unwavering love and calling them “the reason for every celebration” in his life.
Taking to Instagram, the actor expressed his gratitude once again, posting a video from the fan event with the caption, “Thank you for making my birthday special as always. Full of gratitude… and those of you I couldn’t meet, I will see you soon. In the theatres and at the next birthday. Love u.”
Following the fan meet, Shah Rukh stepped outside to greet the massive crowd gathered outside his residence. In multiple viral videos, he was seen climbing atop the gate, waving, blowing kisses, and bowing in appreciation. One fan’s attempt to reach out and hold his hand prompted his security team to step in, underscoring just how overwhelming the love was.
Earlier over the weekend, Shah Rukh had also celebrated his milestone birthday with a cosy yet star-studded gathering in Alibaug. Close friends Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Rani Mukerji joined the actor for the intimate celebration.
Adding to the excitement, fans were treated to the first look of ‘King’, his upcoming action film directed by Siddharth Anand, co-starring Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, and an ensemble cast including Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, and Abhishek Bachchan. The film, backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, is slated for a 2026 release.
