Shahid Kapoor, very calmly and eloquently, made his point clear, while grilling the college kid, who said that he aspires to become an actor.
Shahid Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming Hindi film titled 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'. The new Hindi movie will see Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon sharing the screen for the first time, and it is slated to release in theatres on February 9. In the latest Bollywood news update, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon have been busy off late as they have promoting their upcoming movie left, right and centre. As per the latest Bollywood news update, a video is going viral on Reddit, in which Shahid Kapoor can be seen grilling a college student, who said that he aspires to become an actor.
During the conversation, when Shahid asked the student why he wants to become an actor, he said that when he watches some actors on screen, he thinks that he can do a "better job" than them.
After listening to the kid, Shahid chipped in and said, "I think you are in a phase where you are discovering something you are infatuated by or that you really, really enjoy. You love that but are you good enough for that, you have to work very hard to answer this question. It is very easy to say that I am better than this person, but when you go out on your own to do it. It has happened with me, I am a cricket fan, I love cricket."
"To mein jab Jersey kar raha tha, maine socha main toh khel lunga. Pehli ball, pehla over mujhe abhi bhi yaad hai. Jab aake kisi ne dala mujhe, I was like, I need five minutes. When you sit on the side and see something and you go out there to do it, it is quite different. Aapko pehle toh apne andar kuch aisa dhundna hai which is unique about you, learn to work hard, be respectful towards everyone else's work," he added.

Speaking further, Shahid Kapoor also advised the kid to be respectful towards everyone's else work.
"The energy you put out in the world, if you are highly critical, it comes right back at you. If you are forgiving and kind, the universe sends that back to you," he said.
Earlier, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's film was supposed to release on December 7, 2023. However, it was then postponed to February 2024. This decision might have been taken in light of the packed December 2023 release schedule.
The new Hindi movie is being produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar. The romantic film is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah.
On the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Jio Cinema's ‘Bloody Daddy’. The movie was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, last starred in ‘Adipurush’, which also featured Saif Ali Khan, Devdatta Nage, Prabhas, and Sunny Singh.
