Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Deverakonda's bromance is unmissable.
Shahid Kapoor delivered his biggest box office success in 2019 with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Kabir Singh’. The Hindi remake of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Telugu hit ‘Arjun Reddy’ made more than Rs 250 crore in India. Despite generating polarising reactions, ‘Kabir Singh’ went on to emerge as a major success story. Shahid Kapoor has now thanked Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda for ‘Arjun Reddy’. Shahid Kapoor said that if it wasn't for ‘Arjun Reddy’, then he would not have been able to deliver the biggest solo hit of his career.
Shahid Kapoor, who was hosting a segment at the Amazon Prime Video event in Mumbai, welcomed Vijay Deverakonda on stage. He then kissed him on the cheeks, expressing his gratitude.
Their bromance was the highlight of the big event. “I have to give him a lot of love. Naa Arjun Reddy bani hoti, naa Kabir Singh paida hota. Thank you, Vijay,” Shahid Kapoor said.

During the Prime Video India event, it was confirmed that Shahid Kapoor will be headlining a mythological drama.
Shahid Kapoor will be starring in ‘Ashwatthama-The Saga Continues’. The upcoming Hindi movie will delve into the legend of the immortal warrior Ashwatthama from the epic ‘Mahabharata’.
Earlier, Aditya Dhar was supposed to make a film on this mythological character. The film was supposed to star Vicky Kaushal as the lead. However, the idea was later dropped.
Speaking of Shahid Kapoor’s latest release ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, the film has gone past the Rs 85 crore mark in India. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon, Dimple Kapadia, and Dharmendra.
On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda will next be seen in ‘Family Star’, alongside Mrunal Thakur. The Telugu movie is slated to release in cinemas on April 5, 2024.
