Singer Aditya Narayan, who is the son of Udit Narayan, continues to dominate the social media discourse after a video went viral, in which he was seen hitting the hands of a fan. The singer then also threw away the phone of the student, and in the latest entertainment news, the student has spoken up, and in an interview with Times Now Digital, the student has refuted the claims of him hitting the singer's foot.

In the interview, the student named Lovkesh Chandravanshi said, "The concert was going on and I was standing in front of the stage. Aditya sir was performing and he was also taking everyone’s phones and clicking selfies for them. I was right by the stage so I also gave my phone to him for the selfie but he hit my hand with his mic and then threw my phone away for no reason. He was taking selfies with everyone so I thought he would take with me too that’s why I gave my phone.”

“People have been saying a lot of things but this is the truth. No one hit him actually, we were just normally giving him our phones for selfies and he was even obliging. Even after throwing my phone he continued giving selfies to everyone. Only he knows what his mood was like,” he added.

When asked if he would be filing a police complaint, he said, “I don’t want to file a police complaint. I will not do that. I am not comfortable and I will not take action. I am also scared.”

Earlier, the event manager, who did not disclose his name, told Zoom that the student in question was "constantly dragging Aditya’s feet" and this "irritated" the singer.

Aditya Narayan also spoke to the same publication, and said, "Honestly, no comments. I am answerable to the Almighty. That’s all.”

For the unversed, in the video, Aditya Narayan was seen singing ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from the 2006 Hindi movie ‘Don’, starring Shah Rukh Khan.

As Aditya Narayan performed on stage, he looked at a fan in the audience, and then snatched the person's phone from his hands. After that, Aditya Narayan ended up throwing it away into the crowd.

This is not the first time that Aditya Narayan has made headlines owing to his behaviour. A video went viral in 2017 that showed a verbal spat between the singer and an airport staff at the Raipur airport.

“Teri chaddi nahi utari na, to mera naam Aditya Narayan nahi,” he was heard threatening the airport staff.
