“Anyone With Money Can…”: Uorfi Javed Calls Out Shibani Dandekar, Alleges Latter Got "Paid Posts" Done
Uorfi Javed has slammed Shibani Dandekar, saying the latter got "paid posts" done after paparazzo accounts started comparing her dress with Uorfi's style.
Famous lyricist Javed Akhtar recently celebrated his 79th birthday and Anil Kapoor's residence hosted a big bash. Javed Akhtar's son attended the birthday bash with his wife Shibani Dandekar and it was the latter that completely stole the show. She was seen wearing a dress which was inspired by the custom LOEWE jumpsuit that Beyonce was seen wearing during the 'Renaissance Tour'. However, when the video of Shibani Dandekar first surfaced on social media, many paparazzi pages and fans thought that Farhan Akhtar's wife was inspired by Uorfi Javed's whacky fashion sense.
In the latest entertainment news, Uorfi Javed has slammed Shibani Dandekar, saying the latter got "paid posts" done after paparazzo accounts started comparing her dress with Uorfi Javed's style.
"It's your own insecurity when you had to opt for a paid post to clarify that you wore a super expensive brand by a very famous designer inspired by an American superstar and not me. We get it! You're rich, you wear luxury brands! Calm down now! Geesh," Uorfi Javed wrote on Instagram Stories.
In another Instagram Story, Uorfi wrote, "She also had them change the caption here, general audience don't really care about your expensive brands what they meant was style wise but I get it. You're a fashion girl, who doesn't wanna get compared to a girl like me who doesn't wear expensive brands but her own designs. I get it madam."
Uorfi Javed lastly said that anyone with money can buy expensive clothes, but style isn't for everyone.
"Anyone with money can buy expensive clothes but style, that ain't for everyone," Uorfi Javed wrote.
For the unversed, the original Beyonce dress featured two hands that covered her intimate areas and it was one of the most talked-about looks from the tour. The bodysuit was also bedazzled with crystals that sparkled all night.
Talking about Shibani Dandekar's dress, the outfit featured a similar kind of "hands on" print. The dress was beige in colour.
