Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu were seen trolling Karan Johar by touching his feet but he was having none of it.
Filmmaker Karan Johar definitely knows how to joke about himself. More often than not, you will see the 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' filmmaker making jokes about himself, and he also enjoys a good relationship with younger actors such as Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Sara Ali Khan, among others. Recently, KJo hosted an Amazon Prime Video event in Mumbai, and it was there, that Varun Dhawan decided to touch the feet of Karan Johar.
On Tuesday, Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 'Citadel’s Indian spinoff – 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', was announced.
Karan Johar who was hosting the event, introduced Varun Dhawan as having gone from "From Student of the Year to Spy of the Year." The actor then bent down to touch the feet of Karan Johar.
His gesture shocked KJo, who was further mortified when Samantha Ruth Prabhu also touched his feet.
"No, I don’t want to be aged here, please. I’m fighting my mid-life crisis; I don’t need you to put me in my place. Thank you," said Karan Johar.

As Karan Johar said this, the whole crowd burst out into huge laughter.
During the event, Varun Dhawan also said that Karan has been taking care of his skin which makes it difficult for people to gauge his age.
“I don’t think you realise how old Karan is because he does a great job with his dermatologist," said Varun Dhawan.
A visibly troubled Karan then said, “I’ve done a what job? There are lots of people who get jobs on their faces, I’m not one of them.”
Speaking of 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', Varun Dhawan, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be working alongside Sikandar Kher, Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem, and Emma Canning.

For the unversed, ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ marks the web series debut of Varun Dhawan. This is Samantha Ruth Prabhu's third streaming project after her talk show ‘Sam Jam’ and the critically acclaimed series ‘The Family Man 2’.
Coming back to ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, the release date of the upcoming series is yet to be announced. As per Variety, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will play Honey, and Varun Dhawan will portray Bunny.
