“Besharam Log”: Vidya Balan Maintains Her Calm As Fan Tries To Take Selfie At Pankaj Udhas’ Funeral. Watch

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, known for her versatile acting chops in acclaimed movies like ‘Parineeta’, ‘Ishqiya’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’, ‘Kahaani’, ‘Paa’ and, ‘The Dirty Picture’, was among the many celebrities who made their way to the residence of iconic singer Pankaj Udhas, who passed away recently. The Bollywood actress, wearing a simple white suit, visited the singer’s home to pay her final respects. As soon as she arrived towards the entrance, a fan tried to take a selfie with her.
The fan did not stop even when a member of Vidya Balan's team told him to not take a selfie. In a video posted by Voompla on Instagram, Vidya Balan can be seen ignoring the fan, who was constantly trying to take a selfie with her.
Throughout the entire incident, one can notice that Vidya Balan tried hard to maintain her calm, and did not budge because of the fan's constant pestering.

Several users on the internet are now calling out the specific fan for trying to take a selfie in such a sad situation.
A user commented, “This is so shameful. Clicking a selfie at this sensitive moment. its like harassment. He should be arrested.”

For the unversed, the last rites of famous ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas, who passed away following a prolonged illness, were held on Tuesday.
Apart from Vidya Balan, Shankar Mahadevan, Zakir Hussain and Sunil Gavaskar were also spotted at the residence of the late singer.
Pankaj Udhas’ daughter Nayaab Udhas had shared the news of her father's death on social media on Monday.
“With a very heavy heart, we are saddened to inform you of the sad demise of Padmashri Pankaj Udhas on 26th February 2024 due to a prolonged illness,” Nayaab Udhas wrote in an Instagram post.
Speaking of Vidya Balan, she will next be seen in ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ With Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy. She will also be seen in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, co-starring Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri.
