What's The Worst Part Of Acting With Shahid Kapoor? Kriti Sanon’s Candid Reply
Kriti Sanon appeared on Neha Dhupia’s talk show, where she was asked, “What’s the worst part about acting with Shahid Kapoor?”
Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor’s new Hindi movie ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ marked their first collaboration. The new Hindi movie, directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, made for the perfect Valentine’s Day watch as it released in cinemas on February 9, 2024. ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ opened to mixed reviews from critics. But its fresh concept worked in the favour of the film as it made more than Rs 84 crore in India and over Rs 140 crore worldwide.
The new Hindi movie revolved around the love story of Aryan, a robot scientist (Shahid Kapoor) and Sifra, a humanoid robot (Kriti Sanon). Apart from its fresh and unique storyline, the movie’s songs -- ‘Laal Peeli Akhiyaan’, ‘Tum Se’, ‘Akhiyaan Gulaab’, and the movie’s title track -- were a big hit among the masses.
Recently, Kriti Sanon appeared on Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia’s talk show, ‘No Filter Neha’, where she was asked about her experience of working with Shahid Kapoor.
Neha Dhupia asked, “What’s the worst part about acting with Shahid Kapoor?” Kriti Sanon said, “What?” before letting out a laugh.
She then said, “I think he is probably the only actor who I was nervous to dance with… like really nervous because he’s just so good. And he’s like been a dancer before than he’s been an actor. And he’s just so good and he learns it so fast. Like his energy… his steps are kadak ekdum. And you suddenly feel like ‘I wish I was a robot’, you know, when you are dancing with him. So, he’s really good. I remember being very nervous when we were doing ‘Laal Peeli Akhiyaan’. I was like, ‘Oh my god… he dances really well’. But I haven’t seen him dance for a while. So, even I wanted to see Shahid Kapoor dance.”

Coming back to ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, the new Hindi movie also stars Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, and Rakesh Bedi in pivotal roles. The movie has been produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar.
Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon will be next seen in ‘Crew’. Co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Diljit Dosanjh, ‘Crew’ will be released in cinemas on March 29, 2024.
The upcoming heist comedy will also feature comedian-actor Kapil Sharma in a special appearance. Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, the new Hindi movie is set against the backdrop of the airline industry.
Kriti Sanon will also be seen in ‘Do Patti’, in which she is starring alongside Kajol and TV heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh. Helmed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, ‘Do Patti’ will be streamed on the OTT platform Netflix. Kriti Sanon also has ‘Housefull 5’ and ‘Bhediya 2’ in the pipeline.
