Speculations are rife that Salman Khan will appear as Chulbul Pandey in 'Singham Again'. Here's the truth.

'Singham Again', directed by Rohit Shetty is one of the most-awaited Hindi films of 2024. The new Hindi movie is slated to release in cinemas on Diwali, and it will be going head-to-head with Kartik Aaryan, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri-starrer 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. For the unversed, 'Singham Again' stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor. Over the past few days, the rumours mills have been rife that superstar Salman Khan will appear as Chulbul Pandey in 'Singham Again'.

If you are a Bhai and 'Dabangg' fan, then we have some sad news for you. There is no truth to these rumours as Salman Khan will not be reprising his fan-favourite role in the upcoming 'Singham Again'.

"#Xclusiv... CHULBUL PANDEY IN 'SINGHAM AGAIN'? FALSE NEWS... It seems the rumour mills are working overtime... Speculation is rife that #SalmanKhan's iconic character, #ChulbulPandey, will be making an appearance in #SinghamAgain," trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

"Let's stick to the facts: #SinghamAgain will not feature #SalmanKhan / #ChulbulPandey. Dear #Bhai fans, #Salman will light up the screen with a special cameo in #BabyJohn [#Christmas 2024], starring #VarunDhawan, followed by the larger-than-life avatar in #Sikandar [#Eid 2025]," he added.

Coming to ‘Singham Again’, the film is the fifth installment of Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe and a sequel to ‘Singham Returns’ (2014).

Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty, Siddhartha Jadhav and Ashutosh Rana will also feature in the action film.

Earlier, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' director Anees Bazmee said that he is the “last person to get involved” in the box office race, and he would rather keep himself occupied with making a good film.

“I’ve always maintained that a good film doesn’t need a date to work. I’m the last person to get involved in box-office numbers and release dates. These are decisions and numbers calculated by producers and distributors," he told Mid-Day.
