Ever since 'Animal' released in cinemas, the movie turned out to be quite polarising. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directorial, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor, continues to be bashed for its problematic themes and portrayal. However, one cannot deny the quality of the songs in the film. Bobby Deol's entry song in the movie -- 'Jamal Kudu' has become quite a rage, and several fans continue to perform the hook step of the song.

In the latest entertainment news, Bobby Deol and his elder brother Sunny Deol were seen performing the hook step of 'Jamal Kudu' at Zee Cine Awards 2024.

In the video shared by a paparazzo account, Bobby Deol can be seen dancing to the beats of 'Jamal Kudu'. As the music begins, the actor pauses for a while, and he glances towards his brother Sunny, who was seated in the audience.

The 'Gadar' actor then rises from his seat and walks up to his brother. Upon reaching him, Bobby extends a glass, and the two begin dancing to the tune.

For the unversed, Bobby Deol played the role of the main antagonist in 'Animal'. After the film's release, Bobby Deol had revealed that he initially used to feel “disgusted” while playing the character of Abrar in ‘Animal’.

“Yes, I used to feel disgusted with myself when I started shooting for it. But then I realised I'm playing a character. Why am I feeling so disgusted, so icky? Fir maine unhi logon ke sath jinke sath scene mein jo bhi kiya hai, fir unke sath hum shaam ko sath mein baith ke khana kha rahe hain. Everything is normal,” Bobby Deol said in an interview with Film Companion.

‘Animal’, which has been accused of glorifying misogyny and toxic masculinity by several social media users and critics, did amazingly well at the box office.

The film collected more than Rs 500 crore in India, while it minted more than Rs 900 crore worldwide.
