Triptii Dimri is the talk of the town after her appearance in Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal'. But did you know this fact about her?

Triptii Dimri is one of the most promising young actresses working in Hindi cinema currently. She has starred in several projects like 'Laila Majnu', 'Bulbbul', and 'Qala', but it is fair to say that these projects were not able to give her widespread recognition despite being critically acclaimed. However, December 2023 has turned out to be a game changer for the actress, and she is now being hailed as a "national crush." The reason being her 15-20-minute-long role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal', which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna. In 'Animal', Triptii Dimri plays Zoya Riaz, who is Ranvijay Singh’s (Ranbir Kapoor) lover. However, she is later revealed to be a mole.

This particular role of Triptii Dimri has managed to bring her a lot of praise and recognition, and she has been trending heavily on social media ever since 'Animal' released in theatres on December 1, 2023.

But did you know that this is not the first movie where Triptii Dimri and Bobby Deol have starred together? Yes, shocked right? The duo had starred together in 2017-film titled 'Poster Boys', directed by Shreyas Talpade.

Apart from Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri, the film also stars Sunny Deol, Shreyas Talpade, Sonali Kulkarni, Samikssha Batnagar. The plot of the movie is inspired by a real-life incident about three porters who found their pictures on a vasectomy poster.

In 'Poster Boys', Triptii Dimri plays the role of on-screen girlfriend of Shreyas Talpade's character.

Talking about 'Animal', the ongoing debate about the problematic themes in the new Hindi movie continues to evolve each day.

While some people are finding the plot nonsensical, misogynistic, and problematic, others are saying that ‘Animal’ is one of the best Bollywood films they have seen in recent times.

‘Animal’, which has been accused of glorifying misogyny and toxic masculinity by several social media users, is doing immensely well at the box office. It is inching close to the Rs 500 crore mark at the Indian box office.
