Internet Reacts To Urvashi Rautela's Parrot Clutch At Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet
Urvashi Rautela walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday ahead of the opening ceremony and screening of the film 'Partir un jour' (Leave One Day).
Indian actress Urvashi Rautela made a dazzling appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2025, stealing the spotlight ahead of the opening ceremony and screening of ‘Partir un jour’ (Leave One Day). The ‘Daaku Maharaj’ star lit up the red carpet in a vibrant, multi-coloured statement-making ensemble, complete with a sparkling tiara perched atop her head. But what truly turned heads was her quirky, crystal-studded parrot-shaped clutch – an accessory that quickly became the talk of the town. Photos and videos of Urvashi’s bold Cannes look have taken over social media. However, social media users are trolling her for her look.
Urvashi Rautela opted to wear a strapless structured outfit in shades of blue, red and yellow for the red carpet. She rounded off her look with a matching tiara. However, the spotlight was stolen by the parrot crystal-embedded clutch that she carried.
As per Diet Sabya, an Instagram page dedicated to all things fashion, the clutch is made by Judith Leiber and it costs USD 5,495 (Rs 4,68,064.10).

Soon after the look surfaced online, several social media users reacted to it. While some praised her outfit, others were not impressed.
One user wrote, “So beautiful so elegant just looking like design machine studio.”
Another user wrote, “I’m such a fan.”
“Was Daku Maharaj shown at the festival?” asked one user.
One person commented, "Giving ‘Moulin Rouge meets Mayur Vihar’ realness.”
"Is it a satire on camp?” commented one user.
Another person said, “Why is she invited every year i wanna know that.”
“I swear to God, my son was listening to "main tota, main tota, hare rang ka hoon dikhta" when I came across this post. I am not even kidding,” another comment read.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Urvashi Rautela recently featured in ‘Daaku Maharaaj’. The movie, also starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, and Shraddha Srinath, arrived on Netflix after a successful run in theatres.
‘Daaku Maharaaj’, directed by Bobby Kolli, received massive backlash for its song ‘Dabidi Dibidi’, featuring Urvashi Rautela and Nandamuri Balakrishna. Still, the film performed well at the box office, collecting Rs 90 crore in India and Rs 125.8 crore worldwide, according to trade website Sacnilk.
