At the official premiere screening of her film 'Homebound' at Cannes, Janhvi turned heads yet again. This time, she stunned in an ethereal custom creation by Anamika Khanna that was nothing short of couture magic.

Janhvi Kapoor posed in a stunning Anamika Khanna couture gown featuring a gold embroidered bodice, a backless design, and a silk green skirt with a long train on the back.
The high-neck and bodice of the gown, designed to hug the torso like a sculpture, was rich in texture and evoked Mughal artistry with its ornate paisley and floral motifs. The blouse’s cut-away back and side panels added a modern sensuality, balanced beautifully by its regal neckline.
The skirt featured button detailing down the back, enhancing the fluidity and drama of the silhouette. It also featured thread embroidery on the front and back, a pleated design on the waist, a flowy silhouette, a long, floor-sweeping train on the back, and an A-line silhouette.
The pistachio hue served as a soft counterpoint to the opulence of the gold bodice, resulting in a look that was both rooted in tradition and elevated with couture finesse.
She completed the look with a mix of archival traditional Indian jewels mixed with custom jade and jadao creations, including jhumkis, ear cuffs, bangles, gold kada, rings, and a back chain.
Janhvi Kapoor further opted for a slick centre-parted bun to highlight the back chain. Her makeup was kept radiant – feathered brows, mascara-coated lashes, winged eyeliner, glittery pink eye shadow, flushed cheeks, glowing highlighter and muted pink lips, and fluttery lashes.
Meanwhile, Janhvi’s movie ‘Homebound’ is written and directed by Neeraj Ghaywan. Produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra, the film has already made a lasting impression, earning a powerful 9-minute standing ovation at its Cannes premiere.
‘Homebound’ also stars Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa. Additionally, the legendary Hollywood filmmaker Martin Scorsese joined ‘Homebound’ as an executive producer.
Apart from ‘Homebound’, Janhvi Kapoor will soon be seen opposite Sidharth Malhotra in ‘Param Sundari’, a romantic comedy that tells the story of a charming clash between a “North ka munda” and a “South ki Sundari.” Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film is slated for release in theatres on July 25.
She’s also gearing up for the much-anticipated Telugu film ‘Peddi’, starring alongside Ram Charan. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film also features Shiva Raj Kumar, Divyenndu, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.
The Bollywood actress also has ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ alongside Varun Dhawan in the pipeline.
