Bollywood’s eternal diva Kajol’s fashion choices have always reflected strength, individuality, and an unapologetic sense of drama. Known for infusing emotional depth into every performance, Kajol seems to carry that same storytelling into her wardrobe. Her ensemble didn’t just elevate red carpet fashion – it became an extension of the goddess-like power her role demanded.

Styled by Radhika Mehra and conceptualised by designer Karan Torani, Kajol wore a stunning black Dutch satin saree paired with a dramatic gold corset blouse.
The corset mimicked a warrior’s breastplate, embedded with over 3,500 hand-embroidered Swarovski crystals in varying cuts and sizes. It was sculpted with sharp shoulders and delicate curves – creating a sensual, armoured silhouette that captured the dichotomy of fierceness and femininity.
Meant to evoke the essence of goddess Kali, the design blended chaos with compassion, tenderness with strength. The upper portion was crafted to resemble an ornate necklace resting on her torso, while the flowing satin drape softened the visual intensity of the embellished bodice.
Her accessories were just as symbolic. She wore Apala’s Mughal Bahaar Bangle Stack featuring rubellite ribbon bangles and quartz polki leaves, inspired by the grandeur of a blooming Mughal spring. Statement Amama cuffs added further drama to the wrist.
For makeup, Kajol went with smoky eyes, nude pink lips, and a custom handmade black bindi by The Bindi Project. Her hair was kept straight and parted with ease, letting the ensemble and jewellery take full control of the spotlight.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kajol was last seen in ‘Maa’, which released in theatres in June 2025. Directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Devgn Films, the movie also starred Ronit Roy, Indranil Sengupta, and Kherin Sharma in key roles.
It told the story of a mother’s determination to protect her daughter from the demonic curses of a haunted village.
She will next star in the action-thriller ‘Maharagni-Queen of Queens’, directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati. Besides Kajol, it also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Prabhu Deva, Jisshu Sengupta, Aditya Seal, and Pramod Pathak.
