Mouni Roy wore a custom black georgette gown by Caroline Couture, featuring a romantic off-shoulder neckline and corset-style bodice. The outfit hugged her frame perfectly, blending structure with softness.
The standout detail? Delicate hanging sleeves that lightly draped over her arms, adding a whisper of drama. Intricate navy-blue lace embroidery adorned the bodice and borders, providing unexpected depth and texture against the black base. The gown flowed into a sweeping train and featured a daring thigh-high slit, offering a sensual flash of skin.
Instead of over-accessorising, Mouni Roy let her couture moment shine. She styled the look with layered diamond necklaces from Chopard, one of which featured a sapphire centrepiece that echoed the lace tones of her gown. She skipped earrings entirely and opted for a single diamond ring. Every piece felt curated and deliberate – nothing extra, just the right amount of sparkle.
Her glam followed the same minimalist-yet-impactful theme. With her hair slicked into a chic bun, Mouni allowed the stunning gown and jewels to dominate.

However, ‘The Bhootnii’ opened to negative reviews and it only made Rs 8.09 crore in India, as per Sacnilk.
Prior to this, Mouni Roy featured in ‘Blackout’ along with Vikrant Massey and Sunil Grover. The film was released on June 7 last year on JioCinema.
