The six-yard wonder was crafted in a lightweight fabric, featuring a soft fall that draped gracefully around her frame. Its highlight was the subtle light brown pallu, draped casually over her shoulder, lending the look a hint of earthy contrast.
She paired the saree with a matching bralette-style blouse in the same forest green tone. The sleeveless blouse came with a daringly deep neckline at the front and a low back, giving the traditional drape a contemporary twist. The sleek silhouette ensured that her toned abs were on full display, adding an enviable boldness to the ensemble.
Mouni Roy chose to let the saree shine without overpowering it with heavy jewellery. She ditched statement accessories and instead embraced a minimalist approach, allowing the clean lines and sultry cuts of the outfit to remain the focal point.

Helmed by Sidhaant Sachdev, the film released in theatres on May 1. It clashed at the box office with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’, which also starred Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal roles.
However, ‘The Bhootnii’ opened to negative reviews and it only made Rs 8.09 crore in India, as per Sacnilk.
Prior to this, Mouni Roy featured in ‘Blackout’ along with Vikrant Massey and Sunil Grover. The film was released on June 7 last year on JioCinema.
