In the stunning photos and video, Mouni Roy posed in a dramatic Ajrakh panelled lehenga ensemble, created with intricate detailing and striking textures.

Her outfit featured a slit fish cut lehenga skirt in black, adorned with a bold tulip bell resist-printed jaal work. The lehenga was elevated with rich gold sequin hand embroidery, creating a stunning contrast against the deep base tones.

Paired with the skirt was a heavily embellished choli-cut blouse, highlighted with handcrafted gold zari and sequins, and finished with onyx stonework. The blouse’s sultry neckline and structured shape amplified the drama, while pearl and gold jhumkis hanging from her shoulders added a regal finish. A major highlight of the blouse was its dangerously low-cut back.

Draped over her shoulder was a pleated Ajrakh Badami saree cape in matching print, further enhancing the traditional yet fierce statement.

Mouni Roy’s accessories amplified the grandeur of the look. Her standout piece was the oversized maang tikka, crafted in a floral shape with layers of pearl embellishments that perfectly matched the blouse tassels. Her look was free of necklaces, which let the neckline do all the talking, and her black heels completed the ensemble with understated elegance.

Her hair was styled in centre-parted voluminous waves cascading down her back. Makeup was kept glam with well-shaped eyebrows, black eyeliner, fluttery lashes, subtle eyeshadow, flushed cheeks, highlighter and a nude pink lip shade. The dewy base and subtly contoured cheeks rounded off her makeup look perfectly.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Mouni Roy was last seen in ‘Blackout’ along with Vikrant Massey and Sunil Grover. The film was released on June 7 last year on JioCinema.

She can be currently seen in ‘The Bhootnii’, co-starring Sanjay Dutt, Palak Tiwari, Sunny Singh, Beyounick and Aasif Khan. Helmed by Sidhaant Sachdev, the film released in theatres on May 1. It clashed at the box office with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’, which also stars Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal roles.

However, ‘The Bhootnii’ opened to negative reviews and it has so far only made Rs 65 lakhs in India, as per Sacnilk.
