Mouni Roy made a stunning fashion statement in a black Alpana Neeraj ensemble featuring a sequinned corset bodice and sheer sparkling skirt.
Bollywood actress Mouni Roy never misses a chance to mesmerize with her sartorial elegance, and her fashion diary is a blend of timeless glam and fierce experimentation. Whether it’s ethereal sarees, body-skimming gowns or edgy co-ords, she knows how to own the spotlight in every ensemble. With a flair for silhouettes that celebrate her curves and a love for detailing that adds drama, Mouni is the kind of style star who makes minimal accessories feel maximal. Her recent look in an Alpana Neeraj gown proved just that – bold, brilliant, and completely unforgettable.
Mouni slipped into a show-stopping black gown that embraced the “noir” aesthetic with unapologetic glamour. Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood diva shared stunning images of herself in the ravishing black number.

The strapless ensemble featured a heavily embellished corseted bodice with a sweetheart neckline, crafted in a form-fitting silhouette that hugged her frame flawlessly. Silver sequin-embroidered geometric patterns adorned the bustier and waist, adding a sculptural, almost armour-like edge to the gown.
Below the structured top, the look melted into a sheer black net skirt with a risqué thigh-high effect. The flowy floor-length skirt was generously dusted with tiny sequins that twinkled like stars, lending a fairy-tale shimmer to the sultry silhouette. The sheer fabric added a daring twist, but Mouni wore it with the grace and confidence of a true diva.
Letting the dramatic gown do all the talking, Mouni Roy skipped accessories entirely – an excellent styling decision that amplified the outfit’s impact.
Her hair was styled in a messy bun with loose face-framing strands, adding an undone softness to the otherwise glam look.
Her makeup followed a fierce-meets-feminine route: a matte base, soft contouring, and rosy blush made for a fresh canvas, while nude lips balanced out the drama of her eye makeup. She went bold with a smokey effect, created through kohl-rimmed lids, eyeliner and voluminous mascara-laden lashes.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Mouni Roy was last seen in ‘The Bhootnii’, co-starring Sanjay Dutt, Palak Tiwari, Sunny Singh, Beyounick and Aasif Khan. Helmed by Sidhaant Sachdev, the film released in theatres on May 1. It clashed at the box office with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’, which also starred Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal roles.
However, ‘The Bhootnii’ opened to negative reviews and it only made Rs 8.09 crore in India, as per Sacnilk.
Prior to this, Mouni Roy featured in ‘Blackout’ along with Vikrant Massey and Sunil Grover. The film was released on June 7 last year on JioCinema.
