We didn't either but that was until Pooja Hegde came along and changed our minds. The Indian actress, who has starred in several Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films, is renowned for her stunning sense of style and impeccable acting prowess. While we love Pooja Hegde’s modern fits, her collection of ethnic clothing is a chef’s kiss. Her choice of traditional sarees and lehengas is always alluring.
And Pooja Hegde’s gorgeous red lehenga look is no exception. Taking to Instagram, Pooja Hegde recently dropped a slew of stunning photos of herself in a red lehenga set, which gave a fashionable desi touch to Valentine’s Day fashion.

The bewitching photos showed Pooja Hegde striking captivating poses in a red lehenga from the shelves of designer Arpita Mehta’s label. Available on the brand’s website, it is called the 'All Red Mirror and Cutdana Hand Embroidered Lehenga Set.
Pooja Hegde’s red lehenga set featured a bralette-style blouse, which came with spaghetti straps, a plunging neckline, an asymmetric hem, a fitted bust, and a midriff-exposing cropped hem. The blouse also came adorned with mirror fringe embellishments.
The Indian actress wore the red blouse with a matching lehenga skirt, which featured a high-rise waist, mirror embellishments, sequin cutdana hand embroidered in stunning patterns, an A-line silhouette, a floor-length hem, and a layered ghera.
While the lehenga skirt is made from an organza fabric, the blouse is made with net material. Pooja Hegde rounded off the look with a matching, hand-embroidered organza dupatta.
The dupatta featured hand-embroidered sequin patterns on the borders, dori embroidery, and fringe mirror embellishments on the borders.
Pooja Hegde accessorised her gorgeous red lehenga with gold and kundan dangling earrings, matching bracelets, and rings.
For her makeup, she went with shimmery eye shadow, mascara on the lashes, feathered brows, kohl-lined eyes, highlighter, blushed cheekbones, and bold red lip shade. She left her hair open in centre-parted beach waves, which went perfectly with her red lehenga look.
