Sara Ali Khan wore the modern golden lehenga for the star-studded launch of Jio World Plaza in Mumbai recently.
The Bollywood actress took the ramp by storm as the stunning muse of renowned fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
Sara Ali Khan, known for her bubbly and fun nature, embraced the bling with a sequin-studded two-piece set, a modern take on the timeless piece of Indian clothing – lehenga.
Sara Ali Khan’s all-golden ensemble featured a high-rise skirt which came with a figure-hugging design and a subtle flare below the knees. She paired it with a matching bustier that featured full sleeves and a daring plunging neckline. Her golden bustier also featured a low-cut back.
The Bollywood actress let her outfit shine on its own as she ditched jewellery. She styled her hair in an updo with a few flicks left open, which framed her face perfectly.
For her makeup, she went with well-defined and darkened eyebrows, shimmery eyeshadow, eyeliner, kohl-rimmed eyes, fluttery eyelashes, blushed cheekbones, beaming highlighter and nude lips.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara Ali Khan was last seen in Laxman Utekar's romantic comedy ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, which co-starred Vicky Kaushal. The film opened in theatres on June 2, 2023.
Though it was made on a modest budget of Rs 40 crore, it became a sleeper hit, collecting Rs 116 crore globally.
Sara Ali Khan will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s ‘Metro In Dino’. The actress will star opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. The upcoming Bollywood movie will mark their first collaboration.
Billed as an anthology, the film will also feature Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, and Neena Gupta in the lead roles.
Besides ‘Metro In Dino’, Sara Ali Khan will also star in ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, in which she is essaying the role of a freedom fighter.
She also has ‘Murder Mubarak’ alongside Karisma Kapoor in her kitty. It is directed by Homi Adajania and also features Tisca Chopra, Kunal Kemmu, Pankaj Tripathi, Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor, and Vijay Varma.
