For a recent awards night, Shanaya Kapoor turned heads in a silvery-grey saree from Sabyasachi’s 2025 heritage collection. Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood shared stunning images of herself in the ravishing saree.

The tulle drape, with its languid, floaty quality, channelled a retro glam aesthetic, reminiscent of the golden era. The saree was adorned with intricate floral thread embroidery, further elevated by generous sequin detailing that shimmered under the lights. The contrasting gold sequin border and pallu added depth and richness, striking a perfect balance between subtle sophistication and high-octane sparkle.
Paired with the saree was a sequin bralette blouse, adding a contemporary cocktail twist to the traditional attire while highlighting Shanaya Kapoor’s modern styling sensibilities.
Accessories played a key role in enhancing the vintage mood of the look. Shanaya Kapoor wore an Art Deco-inspired diamond, rubellite, and emerald necklace from House of Umrao that added a regal touch, complemented by mosaic earrings featuring forest-inspired motifs from Shachee Fine Jewellery.
A striking emerald ring from Amrapali Jewels lent the right pop of colour, while embellished juttis from Fizzy Goblet completed the ensemble without taking away from the grandeur of the saree.
Her beauty look was a masterclass in retro styling. Shanaya opted for a bouffant-inspired hairstyle with soft, voluminous waves framing her face. She further went with a dewy base with sculpted cheeks, pairing it with winged eyeliner that sharpened her gaze and glossy nude lips that tied the look together.
Meanwhile, Shanaya made her acting debut with ‘Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan’, co-starring Vikrant Massey. Directed by Santosh Singh, the movie is based on Ruskin Bond's ‘The Eyes Have It’. It released in cinemas on July 11.
Shanaya is also slated to star in ‘Vrusabha’. It will feature actor Mohanlal in the lead role. Shanaya Kapoor had earlier shared the announcement video of her upcoming film ‘Tu Yaa Main’. Co-starring Adarsh Gourav, the survival thriller will revolve around social media influencers trying to escape a man-eating crocodile.
‘Tu Yaa Main’ is produced by Anand L Rai and will be released on Valentine's Day next year. It is being directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
