Whether it’s a red carpet gown or an ethnic ensemble, she gravitates towards styles that enhance her frame, celebrate craftsmanship, and feel effortlessly elevated. For a recent event, she leaned into her signature aesthetic – opting for an ivory anarkali that embodied both romantic charm and summer-ready finesse.

The outfit featured a corset-style bodice with noodle straps, accentuating Vaani’s shoulders and creating a structured, cinched silhouette. The fitted top led into a voluminous, flared skirt that moved with grace.
Rendered in a luxurious Chanderi fabric known for its airy lightness, the ensemble was perfect for warm-weather elegance. The monochrome ivory base was embellished with intricate resham thread embroidery and aari work, forming delicate botanical motifs that flowed across the kurta and echoed on the dupatta. The fabric’s subtle sheen elevated the overall look without overwhelming it.
The outfit’s embroidery and traditional handiwork were beautifully balanced with modern styling. Vaani accessorised with a pair of grand silver chandbali earrings and a stacked kada set, letting the jewellery speak just enough without stealing focus from the outfit.
Her beauty look was equally refined – sleek, middle-parted hair framed her face, while dewy, glowing makeup gave her skin a fresh, luminous finish. Softly defined eyes, rosy cheeks, and a neutral lip completed the look.
With this appearance, Vaani Kapoor made a strong case for contemporary anarkalis that are lightweight yet luxurious, structured yet breezy.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vaani Kapoor can be currently seen in her web series debut ‘Mandala Murders’, bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. The show premiered on Netflix recently.
Prior to this, she was seen playing the female lead in Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh’s ‘Raid 2’, which released on May 1. The movie minted Rs 170 crore in India.
