The comedian did not stop there and he took pride in being called for his nasty comments.

When a user said, "I will never understand the mindset of someone who posts shit like this. I wish you well bc you must be sick," the comedian replied, "Thank You."

Later, the comedian gloated over the fact that the publication TMZ also covered his insensitivity.

Replying to a news article by TMZ, Kevin wrote, "I didn’t mock it. I just thought it was funny. But I do love it when junkies die."

Talking about Matthew Perry, he gained worldwide recognition for his role as Chandler Bing on 'Friends'.

'Friends' ran for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004. He also earned an Emmy nomination in 2002 for his performance. Apart from Matthew Perry, 'Friends' stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc as Rachel Green, Monica Geller, Ross Geller, Pheobe Buffay, and Joey Tribbiani.

As per Variety, Perry grappled with a long struggle with substance abuse and it stunted his career. The actor released a memoir in 2022 titled, 'Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing: A Memoir'. In the book, Perry opened up on his battle with substance abuse, and he tried to use his experience to help others stay sober.

“Hi, my name is Matthew, although you may know me by another name. My friends call me Matty. And I should be dead,” Perry wrote in the opening of 'Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing', as reported by Variety.

“I don’t write any of this so anyone will feel sorry for me — I write these words because someone else may be confused by the fact that they know they should stop drinking — like me, they have all the information, and they understand the consequences — but they still can’t stop drinking. You are not alone, my brothers in sisters," he added.

Perry also scored two Emmy nominations in 2003 and 2004 for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Joe Quincy in 'The West Wing'.
