Golden Globes 2024: Taylor Swift didn’t seem at all pleased with comedian Jo Koy had to say in jest.

Golden Globes 2024 were held on Monday and the award ceremony was hosted by American comedian and actor Jo Koy. For the unversed, Jo Koy was confirmed as the host of the uber-popular ceremony on December 21, 2023. So it can be assumed that the comedian did not have enough time to prepare his opening monologue. Not many were impressed with the jokes cracked by Jo Koy during the ceremony, and looks like, Taylor Swift is one of them. During Golden Globes 2024, Jo Koy made a joke about Taylor Swift's personal life while acknowledging her presence at the awards ceremony.

“The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL – on the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift,” remarked the host of the night, adding, “I swear, there’s just more to go to.”

This joke did not impress Taylor Swift, and she almost gave a death stare to the comedian, before sipping on her drink.

For the unversed, Taylor Swift is rumoured to be dating NFL star Travis Kelce. The 'Love Story' singer has been recently spotted at several NFL games.

It seems like that Taylor Swift's best friend Selena Gomez wasn't impressed either with the jokes cracked by Jo Koy.

During Jo Koy's 'Barbie' jokes, Selena Gomez was seen looking completely unimpressed. During Jo Koy's opening monologue, even actors Emma Stone, Ayo Edebiri, Helen Mirren, Yorgos Lanthimos, and Harrison Ford looked bored.

“The key moment in Barbie is when she goes from bad breasts, cellulite, and flat feet. Or what casting directors call...character actor," said Jo Koy, and this dialogue was met with a silence from the crowd.

For the unversed, Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' rocked the Golden Globes 2024 as it picked up wins in five major categories -- Best Actor, Best Motion Picture (Drama), Best Director, Best Original Score, and Best Supporting Actor.

On the television front, Golden Globes 2024 was dominated by HBO's 'Succession', FX series 'The Bear' and Netflix series 'Beef'.

'Succession's Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook won best male actor and best female actor in the drama category.

Matthew Macfadyen earned a best supporting male actor prize for his role as Tom in 'Succession'.
