Grammy-nominated singer Halsey with her boyfriend and writer-producer Alev Aydin, nearly two years after welcoming their son Ender Ridley Aydin in July 2021. Halsey, also known as Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, has filed for full physical custody of her son, Ender, according to court documents, reported E! News. The court documents show that Halsey filed for full physical custody of their 21-month-old son on April 5. However, the documents also stated that Halsey is seeking joint legal custody, joint expenses, and visitation rights for her ex-boyfriend.

However, neither Halsey nor Alev Aydin have addressed their split on social media or in front of the press. A Page Six insider confirmed that the duo is on good terms.

“The split with them is totally amicable and they are co-parenting, they are going to raise their son together,” the insider told Page Six.

According to the insider, Halsey “just had to file that way” because they are going on a tour in the summer and this “formality” allows the performer to bring her son along with her.

It's unclear when they exactly parted ways, but the pair were still together as of Valentine's Day 2023, when Alev Aydin shared a golden hour photo of them and wrote, "My Sweet Valentine, I Love You." Halsey also shared a sweet tribute that included a PDA photo.

This comes after the American singer announced her pregnancy and her relationship with the film producer in January 2021. Their son was born six months later.

Halsey had shared her gratitude over Instagram for the “rare and euphoric birth” of her child, which she described as being “powered by love.”

Before giving birth, Halsey spoke openly about the difficulties with getting pregnant. The American singer experienced a miscarriage five years prior to becoming a mother for the first time. She had to go through this heartbreaking experience right before performing on stage.

Alev Aydin had been linked to Halsey prior to their relationship, and they were seen together for the first time in March 2019 at Los Angeles Lakers game. The news of their romance left many fans surprised over social media.

Half a year prior to announcing their pregnancy, the Grammy nominee and Alev Aydin got matching tattoos.
