Here's When Tom Hiddleston's 'Loki 2' Will Premiere
Tom Hiddleston is coming back as 'Loki' sooner than you expected!
Marvel has unveiled the release date for second season of Tom Hiddleston-starrer 'Loki 2'. The second season will be premiering on Disney+ Hotstar on October 6. Marvel has also unveiled the release date for upcoming 'Hawkeye' spinoff series titled 'Echo' and the show will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 29. All the episodes of 'Echo' will be released on Disney+ Hotstar in one go. This is the first time that all episodes will be released together for a Marvel series, reported Variety.
Marvel studio chief Kevin Feige announced the release dates during the Disney Upfront on Tuesday and he said that 'Loki' will be studio's “first ever second season."
The story of 'Loki 2' will continue to tell the tale of Hiddleston’s god of mischief and his timeline hopping entanglements from Season 1.
As of now, it is not known whether Jonathan Majors will appear in Season 2 or not. For the unversed, in the first season, Majors played the role as one of the variants of the Marvel villain Kang.
Majors was last seen in Marvel movie 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania'.
Jonathan Majors was arrested in March this year on domestic violence charges and is currently awaiting a court hearing in June. The actor continues to deny all the allegations against him.
Eric Martin has written all the episodes for Season 2 of Loki.
Talking about 'Echo', the show will continue the story of Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox), the deaf, Native American assassin first introduced as a reluctant antagonist in the 2021 'Hawkeye' series, reported Variety.
In 2023, Marvel series 'Secret Invasion' will also be premiering on Disney+ Hotstar and it will arrive on the platform on June 21.
