'Joker: Folie a Deux', starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga is one of the most-anticipated movies of 2024, and in the latest entertainment news, Warner Bros has shared a new poster of Todd Phillips' upcoming musical psychological thriller. The film will see Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as Joker and Lady Gaga will be playing the role of Harley Quinn. The production house has also announced when the trailer for the film will be unveiled.
The trailer for 'Joker 2' will be released on April 9. The new poster shows Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck aka Joker striking a ballroom dancing pose with Harley Quinn, essayed by Lady Gaga.
The two can be seen dressed formally, in a black tuxedo and a white dress respectively. They also have their clown make-up on.

For the unversed, 'Joker 2' is slated to be released in theatres on October 4, 2024. Joker and Harley Quinn are known for their toxic romantic relationship in the comics.
The title 'Folie à Deux' refers to the medical term for “an identical or similar mental disorder impacting two or more people, usually members of the same family.”
The first 'Joker' was released in cinemas in 2019 and the Hollywood film smashed box office records. The Todd Phillips-directorial went on to earn more than USD 1 billion at the box office.
'Joker' had also landed Phoenix an Oscar for his role in the film.
