'Indiana Jones' Actor Christian Oliver And His Two Daughters Killed In Plane Crash
'Indiana Jones' actor Christian Oliver and his two daughters have been killed in a plane crash.
Actor Christian Oliver, who was seen in last year's 'Indiana Jones and The Dial Of Destiny', was killed along with his two daughters in a plane crash in the Caribbean. As per Variety, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force confirmed the death of the actor and his two daughters. Christian Oliver was 51 while his daughters Madita Klepser and Annik Klepser, were 12 and 10, respectively
The pilot (Robert Sachs) of the plane also died in the crash. As per Variety, the aircraft was a small, one-engine plane owned and piloted by Sachs.
The plane crashed one nautical mile west of Petit Nevis, a small island in the Grenadines, Thursday afternoon.
As per Variety, the plane had left from JF Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm, Bequia, an island in the Grenadines and it was bound for St Lucia as its final destination.
“Moments after taking off, the aircraft experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean,” the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force wrote in a statement.
“Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm went to the scene of the incident in their boats to render assistance. The SVG Coast Guard was informed and quickly traveled to Paget Farm, Bequia, to lead in the rescue efforts," the statement added.
Christian Oliver was last seen in last year's 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny'.
He most famously played the racecar driver Snake Oiler in 2008-film 'Speed Racer'.
He was also seen in films like 'Sense8', 'Inspector George Gently', 'The Baby-Sitters Club', 'Saved by the Bell: The New Class' and more.
