The release date for "Only Murders In The Building' Season 3 is out!

If you are fans of Selena Gomez's TV show 'Only Murders in the Building', the wait is over! In the latest Hollywood news today, the release date for season 3 of the show has been revealed by actor Steve Martin. The actor unveiled the release date during his “You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today!” touring show alongside Martin Short. As per Variety, the comedic duo revealed the news while warming up the audience at the start of the show.

As per two patrons who attended the show, Steve Martin and Short delivered updates on what they have been up to recently. The duo also showed a picture of them alongside their co-star Selena Gomez and two new cast members -- Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd.

“Catch the new season August 8,” said Steve Martin, as per Variety.

“Our show is like Steve trying to pee — it streams for 33 minutes," said Short.

However, the audience which were in attendance for the set, were not allowed to record any part of their set.

'Only Murders In The Building' is based on three unlikely friends who live in the same building and the trio go on to bond over their love and passion for true crime.

As the show evolves, these three characters find themselves involved in a real-life murder mystery and begin recording a podcast of their known to go to the depth of the case.

In the first season, the trio investigated the death of their neighbour while season 2 saw them finding their building's board president murdered.

Season 3 will tell the story of how the lead stars work together to figure out who killed Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd).

Martin co-created 'Only Murders In The Building' with John Hoffman, and both executive produce alongside Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, and Jamie Babbit.
