As the band played ‘Someone You Love’, Lewis Capaldi, who is struggling with Tourette’s syndrome, stopped singing midway due to vocal issues.
The Scottish singer has been vocal about his battle with Tourette’s syndrome, a condition that causes involuntary body movements and vocal outbursts. The musician also repeatedly apologised to the audience and thanked them for their love and support.
"I really apologize. You've all come out and my voice is really packing in," Entertainment Weekly quoted him as saying.
He added, "We're gonna play two more songs if that's cool, even if I can't hit all the notes."

For his performance, Lewis Capaldi opted for a casual white tee. Apart from struggling with Tourette’s syndrome, the singer has also dealt with mental health issues, such as anxiety disorder.
Earlier this month, while promoting his second album, ‘Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent’, he announced he would be taking time to recover. In a statement posted on Instagram, he revealed he was cancelling all of his tour dates leading up to Glastonbury.
Capaldi's condition was chronicled in the Netflix documentary ‘Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now’, which was released in April 2023.
At the conclusion of his recent performance, Lewis Capaldi announced that he will be taking more time off to address his health.
"I feel like I'll be taking another wee break over the next couple of weeks. So you probably won't see much of me for the rest of the year, maybe even. But when I do come back and when I do see you, I hope you're still up for watching us,” he said.
For the unversed, Lewis Capaldi is one of the most popular singer-songwriters worldwide. He is known for his hit songs such as ‘Someone You Loved’, ‘Before You Go’ and ‘Pointless’, among several others.
