Latest Hollywood news: 'Maestro' is Bradley Cooper's second attempt at directing a movie.

The 'Maestro' trailer is out, and it looks like that Bradley Cooper has a winner on his hands already. For the unversed, 'Maestro' is based on the life of Leonard Bernstein, and the main role is being played by Bradley Cooper. The plot of the new Hollywood movie revolves around the life of Leonard Bernstein and his love story with his wife Felicia Montealegre. The new Hollywood movie is described as a "fearless love story". The movie will be releasing on Netflix, after a limited theatrical release.

From the trailer, it looks like that the new Hollywood movie is divided into two timelines, which are clearly demarcated by the use of colour.

The major plot of the new Hollywood movie seems to be around Bernstein’s relationship with his wife, his music, and his sexual orientation.

For the unversed, this is Bradley Cooper's second time at direction after the Oscar-nominated 2018 film 'A Star Is Born', in which Bradley shared the screen with Lady Gaga.

The film got 10 nominations at the Oscars, and won the Best Original Song award for 'Shallow'.

Previously, 'Maestro' was slated to be directed by Martin Scorsese but the director stepped back as he wanted to work on 'The Irishman'.

The project then went to Steven Spielberg, who eventually hired Cooper to direct the film.

'Maestro' earlier premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival in September but the cast of the film could not attend the premiere due to the ongoing SAF-AFTRA strike.
