'Fantastic Four' has gotten a brand new cast. On the occasion of Valentine's Day 2024, Marvel Studios unveiled the new cast of its 'Fantastic Four' film. In the latest entertainment news, Pedro Pascal will be playing the role of Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic. The 'Crown' star Vanessa Kirby will be seen as Susan Storm (The Invisible Woman) while Joseph Quinn, who was seen in Stranger Things, will star as Johnny Storm (The Human Torch).
Lastly, Ebon Moss-Bachrach will be donning the hat of Ben Grimm (The Thing).

In the announcement poster, the entire gang was depicted in a retro illustrated Valentine’s Day card. Now, fans are wondering whether the events in the film will be taking place in the 1960s.
Marvel has also confirmed the release date of the upcoming fiilm. 'The Fantastic Four' will be releasing in cinemas on July 25, 2025.
The new 'Fantastic Four' film will mark the first time that this team of misfits will be strung together as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The project will be overseen by Kevin Feige. The film is set to be directed by WandaVision director Matt Shakman.
For the unversed, John Krasinski had played a version of Mister Fantastic in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the 'Multiverse of Madness'.
'The Fantastic Four' is one of the longest running comics series of Marvel. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the series revolves around scientists-turned-superheroes.
20th Century Fox had earlier acquired the rights to the characters and the Studio began developing what would become two films under director Tim Story.
In 2005’s 'Fantastic Four' and its 2007 sequel 'Rise of the Silver Surfer', Ioan Gruffudd played the role of Reed, while Jessica Alba was Susan, Chris Evans was Johnny and Michael Chiklis was Ben.
Fox then made another attempt in 2015, with Josh Trank at the helm, and the cast was led by Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B Jordan, and Jamie Bell. However, the film was panned by critics and lost the studio over USD 80 million.
