Actress Olivia Munn has revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Actress Olivia Munn has revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had to then undergo a double mastectomy. In the latest Hollywood celebrity news, the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' and 'Magic Mike' actress also thanked her doctors and urged fans to calculate their risk assessment. "I'm lucky. We caught it with enough time that I had options. I want the same for any woman who might have to face this one day," she wrote on Instagram.

Along with this caption, the actress shared photos and videos of her being treated at the hospital.

Olivia also said that she took a genetic test in February 2023 that checks for 90 different cancer genes. She said that the result for all was negative.

She then got a biopsy done, and as a result, she found out that she had an aggressive form of cancer in both breasts. She also confirmed that she has had four surgeries in the past 10 months.

Olivia Munn then said that she decided to keep it all private as she "needed to catch my breath and get through some of the hardest parts before sharing.”

In the end, the actress also thanked her family and friends, for "being there before I went into each surgery and being there when I woke up, always placing framed photos of our little boy Malcolm so it would be the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes.”

Over the years, she has acted in films like 'Magic Mike', 'The Predator', 'Office Christmas Party' and 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.
