Oscars 2024 took place recently, and it is fair to say that the star-studded ceremony was truly amazing. The 96th Academy Awards, which saw some of the biggest Hollywood stars in attendance, was filled with many unforgettable moments. Ryan Gosling ended up providing the Oscars with one hot-pink, high ‘Kenergy’ musical number. On the other hand, John Cena arrived on the stage fully naked, and he almost showed everyone his naked butt. The award ceremony, which was dominated by Christopher Nolan's ‘Oppenheimer’, was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

As the 96th Academy Awards have now come to an end, we decided to list the top five moments from the ceremony.

Without further ado, here is the list:

John Cena arrives naked on stage

John Cena appeared naked on the Oscars stage to present Best Costume Design to 'Poor Things'. Through his skit, John Cena paid homage to one of the craziest moments in the history of the Academy Awards when a naked man ran on stage at the 46th Oscars in 1974 while David Niven was introducing Elizabeth Taylor.

John Cena came on stage wearing nothing, a large envelope covering his private parts. The audience then broke out into laughter.

Jimmy Kimmel roasts Donald Trump

During Oscars 2024, Jimmy Kimmel read aloud Donald Trump's latest social media post, which bashed Kimmel as this year's Oscars host. Reading the post of Donald Trump, Kimmel said, "Blah, blah, blah … Okay, now, see if you can guess which former president just posted that on TruthSocial. Anyone? No? Well, thank you, President Trump. Thank you for watching, I’m surprised you’re still — isn’t it past your jail time?”

Emily Blunt, and Ryan Gosling joke about 'Barbenheimer' rivalry

During the 96th Academy Awards, Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling joked about the 'Barbenheimer' rivalry. For the unversed, 'Barbie' and 'Oppenheimer' were released on the same date last year.

“I’m just happy that we can finally put this ‘Barbenheimer’ rivalry aside,” Gosling said on stage. To this, Emily replied, "The way this award season has turned out, it wasn’t that much of a rivalry. Just let it go."

"But I think I kind of figured out why it’s called ‘Barbenheimer’ and not ‘Oppenarbie.’ You’re on the tail end because you rode ‘Barbie’s’ coattails all summer," Gosling said in response, which brought out huge applause and laughter from the crowd.

Ryan Gosling's smashing 'I'm Just Ken' performance

Ryan Gosling rocked the Oscars 2024 as he gave a smashing performance by singing the 'Barbie' song 'I'm Just Ken'. Gosling was seen wearing a sparkling pink suit and pink gloves. He then started singing the song while in the audience sitting behind 'Barbie' lead Margot Robbie.

Gosling was joined on the stage by his fellow 'Barbie' actors Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Ncuti Gatwa and Kingsley Ben-Adir. Gosling also tapped his 'La La Land' co-star Emma Stone to sing along.

Messi, the dog from 'Anatomy of a Fall' attends the ceremony, wearing a bow tie

Messi, the dog from Justine Triet’s 'Anatomy of a Fall' was spotted attending the ceremony, wearing a bow and tie. During his Oscar monologue, Jimmy Kimmel acknowledged the dog's performance in the film, while teasing Robert Downey Jr, who won Best Supporting Actor for 'Oppenheimer'.

“Messi, who, even though he’s a dog, may have given the performance of the year in Anatomy of a Fall, has an overdose scene; if you’ve seen it, you’ve known it. It’s incredible,” the host said.

Speaking of Oscars 2024, Cillian Murphy won Best Actor while Robert Downey Jr won Best Supporting Actor for 'Oppenheimer'.

Emma Stone won Best Actress for her performance in 'Poor Things'. Da’vine Joy Randolph earned the Best Supporting Actress accolade for her role in 'The Holdovers'.
