Jeffrey Epstein, late American financier and sex offender, is making headlines after a US judge on Wednesday, began to unseal the identities of people linked in court documents to sex trafficking case. For the unversed, Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in August 2019 as he awaited a trial for his sex crimes. As per several reports, he faced accusations of sexually assaulting young girls. However, his death by suicide in a US prison halted the legal proceedings against him. Now, in a significant development, hundreds of sealed court filings linked to the late sex offender are being released.

As per reports in NDTV, India Today, and Hindustan Times, several big figures including late physicist and famous author Stephen Hawking, Michael Jackson late pop icon, supermodel Naomi Campbell, former US President Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew, are among those named in the documents.

Apart from Stephen Hawking, Michael Jackson, Naomi Campbell, several others including Ghislaine Maxwell, Cate Blanchett, David Copperfield, Alexandra Cousteau, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Spacey, Kevin Thompson, Donald Trump, Bruce Willis, and Daniel Wilson have also been named.

The unsealing process is expected to provide insight into the connections between Jeffrey Epstein and these prominent figures. The names revealed were listed in court documents filed as part of accuser Virginia Giuffre’s lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell.

The names, before being revealed, were listed in court papers as variants of J Doe. As per reports, many of the names had been previously revealed as well, and every person named in the list is not accused of wrongdoing.

As per several reports, Jeffrey Epstein allegedly sexually assaulted multiple teenage girls. Some of his victims were as young as 14 years old. He committed the crimes at his homes in Manhattan, Palm Beach, Florida, and his private island near St. Thomas.

In August 2019, the notorious sex offender died by suicide in a Manhattan jail cell about a month after being arrested.

His partner Ghislaine Maxwell, who was also involved in the sex crimes, is now serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted in December 2021. For the unversed, she was accused of helping Jeffrey Epstein recruit and sexually abuse young girls.
