Comedian Trevor Noah is currently in India for his latest tour. Recently, his Bengaluru shows were cancelled last minute due to technical issues, and in the latest entertainment news, during his show in Mumbai, Trevor Noah took a dig at Bengaluru as he described his experience during the show. In the several videos going viral on social media, Trevor Noah can be seen describing what exactly happened the day he entered the venue at Manpho Convention Centre in Manyata Tech Park in Bengaluru.

The Emmy-winning comedian said that he had to reach the backstage via an alley lined up with dogs.

“Now, usually when I go to do a show backstage what happens is there will be an entrance that you walk into and then you’re in the venue and then you emerge into a backstage area before you come and perform,” Trevor Noah said.

“Here (in the Bengaluru venue), we walked through an alley that was full of dogs — half of which were in cages… I’ve never prepared for a show where the backstage area is dogs in cages," he added.

“The room was like a semi-permanent tent and everyone was seated in the room with no screens and there were giant air-conditioners blowing hot air," said Trevor Noah.

Earlier, Trevor Noah had apologised to his fans about cancelling his shows and also assured that everyone would get refunds.

“Dear Bengalaru (sic) India, I was so looking forward to performing in your amazing city but due to technical issues we’ve been forced to cancel both shows. We tried everything but because the audience can’t hear the comedians on stage there’s literally no way to do a show. We’ll make sure all ticket holders receive a full refund and again I’m so sorry for both the inconvenience and disappointment this has never happened to us before," Trevor Noah wrote on X.

Trevor Noah is known to be a huge fan of the Indian culture and he has mentioned it several times in his gigs.

He has talked about the influence of Indian culture on his life. His jokes have also revolved around the British invasion of India and Indian curries.

Trevor Noah had announced his departure from the 'Trevor Noah Show' in September 2022. He said that he wants to do more stand-up comedy and this was the main reason behind him leaving the show.
